Vaginitis caused by infection or inflammatory stimuli (which may be sexually transmitted), or due to iatrogenic causes(especially certain drugs used in anti-tumoral chemotherapy), is a condition characterized by states of mucocutaneous hyper-reactivity often associated with oedema, a feeling of tension, vaginal discharges, local and general discomfort and regional hyperalgic states.
Saginil Cannulas are used to maintain and/or restorethe morphofunctional intactness of the vaginal mucosa, in order to combat the onset and amplification of the sequence of tissue events that characterizes the pre-inflammatory on inflammatory state, supported at local level by mast cell hyper-reactivity.
Saginil Cannulas also control the recurrences that often occur after episodes of vaginitis of various origins. ALIA (Autacoid Local Injury Antagonism) biological technology effectively treats mucosal reactivity by normalizing the pro-inflammatory mediators and modulating the secretory behavior of the mast cells which, through the mucosal channels, are exposed in the vaginal cavity.
Women who receive anti-estrogen therapy: a cannula used per day until the reduction or remission of symptoms occurs. This product can be used together with current pharmacological treatment.
