Liquid Fermented Cod Liver Oil by Green Pasture

Why use liver oil?

Although cod liver oil may remind many people of the 1950s, it has recently become popular again to consume cod liver oil daily. Special discovery by Weston A. Price

In the 1920s and 1930s, Weston A. Price traveled the world to study traditional diets and eating habits. In his now famous book Nutrition and Physical Degeneration, he describes how the Swiss worshiped the butter of cows grazing during springtime. According to Price, this was due to the fact that the cows ate fast-growing grass during this period, making the butter richer in vitamins. He discovered a previously unknown substance in the butter, which he called Activator X; it was later renamed vitamin K2. Further research by Price showed that this substance occurs mainly in butterfat and fermented cod liver oil and also demonstrated a synergistic cooperation between these two animal fats. These findings by Dr. Price are the basis of Green Pasture's unique product line, which includes butter oil, fermented cod liver oil and unique blends of these two oils.

User Instructions

Mix 2 ml with water, juice, milk, honey or maple syrup and swallow the mix quickly. The flavor of the fermented cod liver oil is different than not fermented. Since lacto-fermented Blue Ice tends to irritate the throat. It is therefore recommended not to take the Blue Ice liver directly. Keep refrigirated after opening.
