Why should I use a nutritional supplement?
Dietary supplements complement healthy food and support your health. So first of all, ensure a healthy diet, and then choose good supplements that suit your needs.
For example, if you want to invest in maintaining good health in the short and long term. Your body cannot function properly if it does not have enough vitamins and minerals at its disposal. Thanks to supplementation, you can be sure that you are getting enough of the important nutrients.
Supplementation can be essential if you do not eat certain products, which means you do not get enough vitamins, minerals and other beneficial substances, such as meat (for example vitamin B12 and L-carnitine) or fish (omega 3 fatty acids and iodine) or if you do not eat many vegetables and fruit (all kinds of vitamins and minerals, such as magnesium). Vegetarians and vegans, for example, should pay extra attention to this. Your body cannot store most vitamins and minerals. We therefore need a varied and healthy diet every day, with a very rich amount of plant substances, healthy fats and good proteins. Not everyone meets this requirement every day.
In addition, there are all kinds of situations that can affect your vitamin and mineral status. For example, think of an increased need during pregnancy (such as methylfolate), in growing children or as you get older, during intensive sports, in periods of stress or increased pressure, with specific conditions or the use of medication or in the winter period (such as vitamin D3 and vitamin C). Lifestyle factors such as drinking alcohol, smoking, pollution and a disturbed night's sleep also play a major role.
Finally, there are many beautiful substances and products that can support you in achieving a specific physical goal, such as sports performance. Sports demands a lot from your body. Not only in the faster consumption of vitamins and minerals, top athletes pay close attention to this, but also in an increased need for good proteins, carbohydrates and fats. Depending on your sports goal, you can invest in appropriate supporting supplementation.

Are your supplements pure and safe?
The products in our range are pre-analysed for impurities such as heavy metals, microbiology and purity of the substance. Many results are published on our website so that you can view them before you purchase a product. The NVWA supervises the quality and safety of food supplements in the Netherlands, in Europe the EFSA (European Food and Safety Association) is the umbrella organisation. Dosages of substances are therefore always safe. If you have a specific question about the safety of a product, please contact us.
What is Ergomax's vision on nutrition and lifestyle?
In terms of nutrition, we are evolutionarily oriented and a framework such as primal nutrition or paleo diet fits best in this respect. An additional point of attention in our opinion is that the diet should contain many products from the sea such as fatty fish, oysters and seaweed. Also respect the seasons and the products they provide. Do not be afraid of ketosis and a higher than recommended fat intake, as long as they are natural fats. Of course, a daily varied and rich supply of plant materials such as vegetables (at least 400 grams), fruit, herbs, nuts and seeds forms an essential basis. Variety, fibers, vitamins and fatty acids are, for example, magic words for the health of our intestinal flora!
Environmental factors such as a good day and night rhythm and good sleep hygiene are extremely important for your health. Therefore, go along with the natural course of day and night as much as possible and avoid or block bright and blue light when dusk sets in. In the morning, exposure to blue light is recommended because it signals a new start of the day. Looking at the sky for a minute or two without glass in between, whether it is cloudy or not, is enough.
Physical exercise is a therapy in itself and regularly seeking your physical limits with short intensive efforts is very valuable. However, do not forget that there is also a counterpart and that is consciously seeking rest. Keep these two in balance by doing strength training three times a week and activities such as meditation or qi gong three times a week.

How can I change my customer details?
To change your customer details, log in to www.ergomax.nl. To do this, click on 'My account' at the top right of the screen. Fill in your email address and password and then click on log in. You can now click on 'Account overview' at the top of the screen and change your details.
I have lost my password. What should I do?
If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it. Go to www.ergomax.nl and click on login at the top right. Then click on the link 'forgotten password', fill in your email address and you will receive an email with which you can reset your password.
What about my privacy?
We do everything we can to keep your private data truly private. We do ask for data from you, so that we can help you as best as possible. What data we ask for, what we use it for and all other information about your private data can be found in our Privacy Statement .
Products
What is the best way to store nutritional supplements?
Store your nutritional supplements in their original packaging. Most packaging is specially designed for long-term storage. Make sure your nutritional supplements are not exposed to temperatures higher than 20-25 degrees. Cooler temperatures are no problem, as long as the humidity is not too high. Close the jar tightly after use and avoid exposure to sunlight. If you transfer supplements to a pill box, only do so for short-term use, such as when on holiday.
Can I combine multiple nutritional supplements?
Yes, you can. With a few exceptions, you can combine most nutritional supplements very well. Always read the product pages on the website, the product label and the declaration of ingredients carefully. If you take multiple products with the same ingredient, read carefully whether the dosage remains within the safe daily upper limit. If you are not sure, please call us for advice.
Where can I find product information?
All product information can be found on the website for the relevant product. If you still have any product-related questions, we will be happy to help you. In 2012, a new European law came into effect, which unfortunately means that we are no longer allowed to tell consumers what products can be used for. If you have any questions, you can of course contact us by phone on +31 (0) 24 - 66 353 66.
Can I still take my nutritional supplement after the expiration date?
The expiration date or best before date is mandatory on food supplements. Because the quality and effectiveness cannot be guaranteed after this date, we advise not to take expired products.
What happens if a product is out of stock?
We do everything we can to keep our stocks well replenished. Occasionally, delays at customs or force majeure unfortunately cause a product not to reach our warehouse on time. If a product from your order is not in stock, we will contact you to offer a suitable solution. This could include sending the missing item free of charge or selecting a replacement product.
Delivery and shipping costs
What are the shipping costs?
Above €74.95 no shipping costs are charged for orders within the Netherlands. For orders below €74.95 a standard €4.95 is charged for PostNL, regardless of the quantity or size of the order.
Shipping to Belgium is standard €5.95 (will be cancelled from €74.95). For a price indication to all other countries see shipping costs
How long does it take to receive my order?
Orders are shipped within one to three days.
As a rule, PostNL will deliver your shipment within 24 hours after it has been collected from our warehouse. If you are not at home, the PostNL delivery person will offer the package again the next day. If you are not at home during this second delivery, the package will be offered again the next day. If you are not at home again, you can collect the package from a PostNL collection point. You will of course receive a message from the delivery person in your mailbox stating where you can collect the package. You have three weeks to do this. Please take the following into account:
- PostNL delivers at different times than regular mail.
- We have no influence on the time of delivery.
Can I also pick up my order?
No, unfortunately that is not possible. Our stock is located at a different location than our office.

Unfortunately, we do not have generic discount codes, promotional codes or coupon codes.
Where can I enter my discount code?
Have you received a discount code? You can easily enter this during the ordering process.
- First add the products to your shopping cart.
- Check your order in the shopping cart. Then click on the button 'Proceed to checkout'.
- Enter your address details and select a delivery and payment option.
- Enter the discount code in the 'Apply discount code' button on the right side of the page.
Exchanges and returns
Can I exchange or return my purchase?
At Ergomax it is possible to return your online purchases within 14 days. During this period you can return the order - or part of it - if possible in the original packaging.
How can I return my purchase?
If your purchase is not entirely to your liking, you can easily return your order using the model withdrawal form, stating your order number. You also have the option to withdraw in another way, as long as you state your name, address and order number. The return costs are at your own expense. All returns must comply with our return conditions. When returning the entire order, you will receive the full purchase price, including shipping costs for the outward journey, as soon as possible and at the latest within 14 days. This period of 14 days starts at the moment you return the items, or indicate that you want to return them.

What are your return policies?
- Used or opened items cannot be returned.
- The product must be returned in its original packaging and undamaged.
- Please use the original shipping box for returns.
- The cooling-off period for returning products is 14 days from the next day after receipt.
- After cancellation of the purchase, it must be returned within 14 days.
- Ergomax will charge shipping costs if an order is not received or not picked up at the pick-up location. The shipping costs that PostNL charges to consumers apply.
- The return costs as well as the risk are at your own expense.
How can I exchange a product?
Would you like to exchange an unopened product for another product within 14 days? That is possible. In that case, first contact our customer service via info@ergomax.nl so that you are sure that your product is in stock as desired. In order for the exchange process to proceed as carefully and quickly as possible, it is important that you provide the return shipment with (a copy of) the original packing slip. Write on this packing slip which product you want to exchange for which product. As soon as your product has been returned, we will send the item to be exchanged to you.
I received a damaged product. What do I do with it?
At Ergomax we always do our utmost to pack each product as carefully as possible. Unfortunately, it does happen in some cases that a product gets damaged. In this case, always contact our customer service immediately.
