Lumbrokinase - Proteolytic Enzymes by Doctor's Best
Lumbrokinase consists of a group of stable fibrinolytic enzymes that act in a proteolytic manner. This means that they work systemically. It is a very active enzyme too. Doctor's Best Lumbrokinase contains 40 mg of pure lumbrokinase per 2 capsule dose. This is equivalent to 720,000 lumbrokinase units optimally absorbed in the intestines.
Benefits:
- Stable fibrinolytic enzymes
- Is well absorbed in the intestines
- Active form proteolytic enzymes
- Does not contain gluten or soy; GMO-free
- Contains ingredients of animal origin
Lumbrokinase from earthworms
Lumbrokinase originates from earthworms, specifically the Lumbricus rebellus and Eisenia fetida species. Lumbrokinase has a specific protein-splitting effect, especially certain proteins that occur naturally in the blood. In many Asian cultures including China, the earthworm is actually used as a substance. Lumbrokinase has now been extensively documented and is used for various indications.
Quantum effects of enzymes
Enzymes do essential work throughout our body. They are catalysts for biochemical reactions in cells and can accelerate these processes up to a trillion times. How is that possible? Enzymes make use of what in quantum mechanics is called the tunneling effect. A particle passes through a barrier. Imagine it like this: a particle doesn't have enough energy to go over a high mountain, but it can teleport itself through a kind of tunnel. It disappears on one side of the mountain and reappears on the other side at the same time. Without tunneling in this way, enzymes would never be able to accelerate chemical reactions.
Cautionary note
Do not use lumbrokinase if you have an earthworm allergy. Also, do not use lumbrokinase shortly after surgery, injury, in case of haemophilia, ulcers, or aneurysm without consulting a doctor. Stop using lumbrokinase one week before surgery and, after consultation with a doctor, do not start earlier than two weeks after surgery. Lumbrokinase is safe to use along with blood thinners such as aspirin, heparin or warfarin but do consult a physician before use in combination with any of these drugs.
