Former owners buy back Ergomax

Ergomax: A New Beginning

In 2007, Ergomax started as a modest project in an attic. With just one product, we grew into a multimillion-dollar company. Driven by passion and a dedicated team, we managed to build a strong connection with our customers. In 2021, we decided to sell Ergomax to a consortium of supplement companies. Although this seemed like a logical step, the sale brought unexpected challenges.

What went wrong after the sale?

After the acquisition, management changed drastically. The new team did not function optimally, which led to issues such as:

  • High employee satisfaction disappeared, and many staff members decided to leave.
  • Customers expressed disappointment with the changed service. Customer support was minimized and much knowledge was lost.
  • Inventory problems meant that products were often unavailable.
  • Suppliers complained about unpaid invoices.
  • Orders were not delivered on time, further undermining customer trust.

For us, as founders, it was hard to watch from the sidelines as Ergomax declined. After 15 years of hard work and building a strong reputation, it felt powerless not to be able to act. Ergomax, once a thriving and healthy company, was driven to the brink within 1.5 years. That’s when we decided to take action.

The repurchase of Ergomax

With the knowledge, skills, and passion we had built up over the years, we chose to buy back Ergomax. This was not just a business decision, but also a personal mission. We want to restore customer trust and put Ergomax back on the map as a reliable partner in health and supplements.

Our new plans

Our focus is now on rebuilding a solid foundation for Ergomax. This includes:

  1. Customer focus: Restoring strong relationships with customers is central. We want to be available for questions and concerns, which is why we are once again easily reachable by email and phone. A support chat will also be introduced for quick questions.
  2. Reliable stock: We will ensure that all products are always in stock, so no one misses out.
  3. Fast communication: Clear and accurate communication is a priority so customers get help quickly.
  4. Product range expansion: We will expand the product offering with new, high-quality products that meet customer needs. There will be more focus on the best-selling products, and the old Ergomax line will be supplemented and improved.

A New Chapter

Although the past few years were challenging from the sidelines, we are excited about this new start. It gives us energy to reconnect with our customers, hear their feedback, and deliver the quality they were used to. We are eager to restore Ergomax to its former glory.
