Lutein & Zeaxanthin Chewing Gummies by Doctor's Best

Lutein and Zeaxanthin chewing gummies contain lutein and the two isomers zeaxanthin and meso-zeaxanthin. The body itself cannot synthesize these compounds: we have to get them from food or supplementation. Lutein and the two isomers zeaxanthin and meso-zeaxanthin are important carotenoids that aggregate in the macula of the retina of the eye.

Extracted from marigold flowers

Lutein, zeaxanthin and meso-zeaxanthin are extracted from the marigold. This is the same free form that also occurs in fruits and vegetables. As a result, the substances are well absorbed by the body. This product contains chewing gummies for easy ingestion. Doctor's Best uses pure crystalline lutein.
