BioMatrix licorice root extract contains 35 mg of licorice root extract from the Glycyrrhiza glabra plant per serving of 1 drop (0.05 ml). The extract is rich in the nutrient glycyrrhizin. The molecular structure of glycyrrhizin is very similar to that of corticosteroids. Licorice root extract is used to support a normal day-and-night rhythm and the adrenal glands.

Rich in glycyrrhizin

The licorice root used for BioMatrix licorice root extract is 100% naturally grown and harvested. Before harvesting, a high-pressure liquid chromatography method, also known as an HPCL test, is used to determine if the amount of glycyrrhizin in the licorice plant is at its highest. If so, the glycyrrhizin is extracted from the raw material within a few days using water extraction.
