Zeolite clay is a 100% natural volcanic clay. Zeolite was created when liquid lava and volcanic ash ended up in the sea. The volcanic ash particles reacted with salt ions from the sea and formed a kind of clay layer on the bottom.
The term was originally coined by Swedish mineralogist Axel Fredrik Cronstedt, who derived the word from the Greek word 'zeo', meaning 'to boil', and 'lithos', meaning 'stone'.
Zeolite contains a rich amount of electrolytes that form free ions in the body with an antioxidant effect. One of the unique properties of zeolite clay is that it is both absorbent and adsorbent. Absorbent means "to attract, to bind to the surface." Activated charcoal is well known for its absorbent properties. The power of G.I. Detox+ lies in combining both substances.
Humic acid, fulvic acid and apple pectin
Fulvic acid is one of nature's smallest molecules; it is a natural electrolyte. Fulvic acid is not naturally bound to, for example, minerals and vitamins and therefore has a transport function in the body. Humic acids are part of humic substances. They have a broad active effect. Apple pectin is a D-galacturonic acid found in the cell walls of the apple. Pectin causes plant cells to stick together. Apple pectin derives from apple skin.
