What is Serrapeptase?

Serrapeptase belongs to the family of metalloproteases and is known for its ability to break down proteins. Research has shown that serrapeptase is effective when taken orally, provided it is protected from the acidic environment of the stomach by enteric-coated capsules. Formulation and Use of Natto-Serra

Each Natto-Serra capsule contains 40,000 SPU serrapeptase and 2,000 FU nattokinase, along with 29 mg calcium from tricalcium phosphate and calcium stearate.
