Characteristics of Smidge™ Infant Probiotics Powder

Specifically developed for children, this Smidge™ Infant Probiotics Powder contains the 7 highly tolerant, histamine-neutral or histamine-degrading probiotic strains Lactobacillus gasseri, Lactobacillus salivarius, Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifidobacterium breve, Bifidobacterium infantis, Bifidobacterium infantis, Bifidobacterium longum and Bifidobacterium longum. Although the formula has been developed for young children, these probiotics can also be used by adults. Bifidobacterium infantis, the bacterial strain often dominant in the digestive tract of breastfed babies, makes up 50% of this formula. These probiotics are suitable for children, sensitive users and in combination with diets such as Paleo, PANDA/PANS, Body Ecology, GAPS, SIBO, autism/PDD-NOS, AIP or Ketogenic. The strains of bacteria do not produce D-lactate and the supplement is free from inulin and other prebiotics, as well as from known allergens including gluten, soy, dairy, casein, eggs, fish, shellfish, gluten, peanuts, nuts and corn. The product comes with a handy dosing spoon and should be stored in a cool and dry place. It is wise to consult with a physician prior to administering probiotics to children.
