Colloidal silver is water in which extremely fine silver particles are dispersed. Osavita makes it in Germany with silver of 99.99% purity in ultrapure water, at a concentration of 40 ppm, and supplies it in an amber glass bottle with a spray head.

What 40 ppm means

40 ppm stands for 40 milligrams of silver per litre of water. According to Osavita, a higher ppm figure does not automatically say anything about higher quality.
