From lake and sea
Aphanizomenon flos-aquae, AFA for short, is a blue-green alga harvested mainly from Upper Klamath Lake in Oregon, a lake at an altitude of more than 1200 metres. Fucoidan is a polysaccharide from brown seaweeds such as kelp and wakame, which have been eaten in Japanese and Korean cuisine for centuries. The extract in Stemax contains 85% fucoidan.
Sea buckthorn, reishi and saffron
Sea buckthorn also grows along the Dutch coast; its orange berries are rich in carotenoids and fatty acids. Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) is known in Chinese tradition as the mushroom of immortality. Saffron, from the stigmas of the crocus, is the most expensive spice in the world per gram.
Careful with many active substances
Stemax combines more than twenty active substances, including Malabar tamarind (Garcinia cambogia), black cumin and a range of flavonoids. Not during pregnancy or breastfeeding and not for children. If you take medication or have a liver condition, consult your doctor first.
