MegaFood becomes the first supplement brand to be completely glyphosate-free

MegaFood announces that the entire product line is now certified Glyphosate Residue Free (GRF)

The certification was granted by the Detox Project, an independent research organization. MegaFood voluntarily participated in the project and had its products tested by this independent party.

Glyphosate

Glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup®, is the most widely used herbicide in the world. It is commonly applied in GMO and conventionally grown agriculture, and unfortunately is still often used in private gardens, public parks, and schools.

The use of glyphosate has increased dramatically over the past 10 years—nearly fifteenfold. The World Health Organization (WHO) has classified glyphosate as “probably carcinogenic to humans.”

Organic farming

In organic farming, the use of glyphosate and other fertilizers, antibiotics, and growth hormones is prohibited.
