Collagen hydrolyzate: the perfect nutricosmetics
Collagen hydrolyzate is the best supplement in our range if you are looking for a good and cost-effective product for skin, hair and nails. Because collagen hydrolyzate has undergone an additional processing step, it does not form a gel like ordinary gelatin, but remains fluid. Collagen hydrolyzate therefore mixes with liquids more easily. Result: quick recording! Within minutes, the body again has the specific amino acids and amino acid compounds that it can use properly. Of course we take care of the sustainable production and distribution.
Collagen hydrolysate Benefits
- Excellent source of protein
- Contains high concentrations of glycine, lysine and proline
- Neutral flavor and durable originating
- Supports the body’s collagen network

Collagen Hydrolysate/ Hydrolysed Collagen
Hydrolyzed collagen Hydrolyzed collagen is processed more extensively than conventional collagen, and is composed of purified proteins of low molecular weight. As a result, uptake of hydrolyzed collagen is rapid, indeed within a few minutes. Collagen hydrolysate contains specific amino acids and amino acid compounds of immediate use throughout the body.
Exclusive amino acid profile
The product mainly consists of glycine, lysine and proline. Glycine and proline are the two most important amino acids found in hydrolyzed collagen. Both of these amino acids are important for the body’s proper functioning. Collagen comprises particular proportions of amino acids; these unique proportions are commonly compromised in much of the typical diet. Because it been through an additional processing step, collagen hydrolysate does not produce a gel, as does ordinary gelatin, but remains liquid. This makes collagen hydrolysate easy to mix with other liquids.
Collagen powder of sustainable cod
Collagen is derived from various sources. Pig and bovine collagen are the most common and as a rule, unless specifically stated otherwise, hail from industrial farming. Because we want to offer only the best and healthiest collagen, we have not chosen for bio-industrial products or even organic bovine gelatin products. Of all natural variants, nothing beats collagen from wild-caught cod. Naturally, the highest sustainability and processing standards apply.
Neutral flavor and glycine-rich
Cod collagen hydrolysate comes in a fine white powder with a neutral flavor. Two tablespoons a day suffice to supplement your diet with its pure proteins. One of the amino acids often written about is glycine. It is the most ubiquitous amino acid in collagen. Considered “semi-essential”, the body cannot itself produce sufficient quantities, making intake of additional glycine through our diet a necessity. The body itself produces about 3 grams per day, yet it requires about 10 grams per day for basic metabolic processes
Collagen in the body
Collagen is the most abundant protein in the biosphere. Of all protein matter in the body 30 percent is collagen. This biopolymer is found in all of our connective tissue, from skin and joints to internal organs, hence the importance of maintaining healthy levels. The function of collagen is to provide strength, connectivity and structure. Additional intake of collagen will benefit almost everyone, but is of particular interest to special-requirements groups including athletes and senior citizens.
Not just connective tissue
Collagen has generally been considered an inert tissue only functional in terms of its mechanical properties. This is an outdated view. In addition to providing strength, connectivity and structure collagen has important dielectric and electrical conductivity properties. This enables it to act as a vital communication system interconnecting tissues throughout the body. Collagen even plays a role in energy production, according to research by Dr. Gilbert Ling and Dr. Gerald Pollack.
Collagen is a liquid crystal?
In a healthy body all collagen is completely reassembled every 6 months. For proper functioning it is important that you get the right nutrients, get plenty of exercise and (if possible) resistance training, but also that you drink sufficient water. Within the living body, collagen exists in a state of matter in-between that of a solid crystal and liquid. This is appropriately named a “liquid crystalline”, or liquid crystal, state. For proper functioning, it is dependent on water, which is why adequate intake is of critical importance.
Take 2 tablespoons per day (24 grams). Can be taken at any time of the day, with a liquid of your choice.

GREAT PRODUCT!!This Collagen seems to be EXACTLY what is descibed by Ergomax! It is a very fine powder that MIXES VERY WELL WITH LITTLE EFFORT in any liquid (including thick smoothies). The product is NOT POLLUTED OR DILUTED WITH FLAVORINGS AND FILLERS, therefore, it does taste like the source which it comes from (Wild Caught Cod) when consumed by itself. Yet, if MIXED BY HAND with a little juice or in a smoothie, the fishiness virtually disappears! I LITERALLY MIX THIS COLLAGEN INTO MY SMOOTHIE WITH MY STRAW RIGHT BEFORE I DRINK IT!! TASTES GREAT!! GREAT PRODUCT!! GOOD JOB ERGOMAX!!!
