After catching the cod (always from Norway) the livers are processed immediately so that the end product is as fresh as possible. Only small batches are used. The age of the fish, the season or the season-bound availability of food for the fish are factors that influence the unique composition of cod liver oil.

Rosita cod liver oil is not the same as fish oil
Rosita cod liver oil is absolutely not the same as fish oil. It is specifically extracted from the liver of cod and is therefore different in composition than regular fish oil. Did you know that it was even used by the Vikings? Rosita cod liver oil is rich in EPA and DHA. The big difference with fish oil is that cod liver oil contains a lot of vitamins A and D3. The nice thing is that these two vitamins actually reinforce each other enormously.
